Any vB4.01 version on the horizon ?

Navbar didn't update (I run a custom theme that uses images for the navbar so obviously but it's not in the template at all in any form) and when manually navigating to vbfavorites.php it says I don't have permission despite being a super admin.

Running 3.8.4 Patch Level 2.

Does this also allow members to add Social Groups and vbBlogs to their favorites? I really need this to work with vbBlogs in a big way!

Yep I have same problems here! I running vbadvanced and vb and nothing updated on my navbar. I can add members and threads to favorites.
There is no link to add posts to favorites and there is no navbar drop menu. If I try to navigate to your php file it says I dont have permission.

Is there a usergroup setting? I looked but don't see any!

Manually edited the navbar. That all works now.

BUG REPORT:
When on the view all fav page your drop menu is broken! That needs fixed.

That's probably not the best way to request assistance from the modification author. It's not like you're paying him for his time to upgrade it. In fact - Perhaps THAT might be the best way for an upgrade ==> send him money :)

Nature of the beast. When stuff is free it's entirely the author's choice whether s/he ever updates it.
If you really want an updated or modified version you could always make a paid request.

Discovered a possible bug -
If a post is added to favorites, the links in the User CP go to the whole thread instead of just the post. The link on the nav bar goes to just the post, as expected.

Lets get this modification version working first.

What I have observed.

In one vbulletin I have 3.8.4pl2 which is HEAVILY modified, it worked out of the box perfectly.

Then in another vbulletin same version, it will not work at all, and now...

In yet another vbulletin I have, version 3.81...only a few modifications on this vb, it will not work in the navbar which I don't care about anyway, and I would shut off.... BUT there are no permissions for users anywhere in the usergroup section... so even I cannot access the vbfavorites.php page HOWEVER it does show in each post, and I can add add a favorite, edit and remove the favorite from my userCP and it works fine there.

Very weird, and I now suspect (as I posted on page 6 that I would look into the conflict of another modification) might be a thread or posting type mod.

Oh well.

Needs and update to really flesh it out, but does what it's supposed to pretty well, and it's free and made for vB4.

May be better to place favorite threads on separate page within user cp?
Too many favorites may cause to more complicated navigation on that page.

The bookmarking mod from dragon-tech is much more basic.

getting error :

I am using v2.0.2 of this product. I don't know if the code has been changed, but the changelog does not mention it.

This product is flawed.
The list of ALL favorites (threads, posts, and users) is loaded on EVERY page load of the member (in the global_start hook).
It might not be a problem at first. But the list of likes will grow more and more. the way the favorites are queried will lead to serious performance problems.

For those that install this and receive a database error...

re-upload product
