If i understand it right, your link juice is split amongst all links on a page so even so for example if you used this mod for the search term "SEO mods" it would still need to share the the link juice with things on the page that do not help your seo like the words: post, forum & thread for example. obviously this mod gets your keyword to take some % of that so it is benefiting but it would benefit more if their were an easy way to put no follow on certain internal links not everything so link juice is still being sent to places you don't want it

Adding a nofollow option would not help. Indeed, changes in how Google handles the nofollow tag make the use of that tag virtually pointless.

See:

Added: I see this was already answered at https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showpost....3&postcount=16 but you might find the links I added useful for providing more information on what has changed.

HOWEVER - a nofollow option per keyword for external links would help, so that you could sell specific words on your forum content, and nofollow them to ensure you dont get in any trouble from google.

I will add that feature today,

cheers

Frankly, I'm at a point where I refuse to play any more nofollow games or do Google's work for them. I don't nofollow anything any more. I'd love to see some of these antitrust suits succeed. Google needs to be reined in a little until they lose some of the arrogance they've acquired in the past few years.

neither do I mate, and to be totally honest, my priorities for this plugin are:

1) promote internal linking of certain pages
2) link offsite for SEO benefit of the target site
3) affiliate links.

Im sure for most people, affiliate links will be the #1 reason to use this plugin. Heck, when I ran a poker forum, I earnt thousands a month off the old geek plugin that achieved something not dis-similar.
