Vossi 02-18-2011 08:44 PM

That's actually quite weird, it works fine on my 4.1.2

Did you de-activate one plugin after the other in order to fetch the part which blows your feeds?

your24hourstore 02-19-2011 12:23 AM

uploaded all the files again and its fixed ..weird thanks anyways

ARGHHHHHHHHHHHH as soon as i click a link in the rss and then go back and try and open the rss again with the link icon it throws the error again. then ..I went in and just pasted <?php in line one. in /includes/class_blog_entry.php and saved it and it works again till i clcick a link in rss and then go back and try and open the rss again with the link icon it throw the error again

here is the maintenance stuff and error

Fatal error: Call to a member function query_first() on a non-object in /home/armrestr/public_html/FOURSTATESHOME.COM/includes/class_blog_entry.php(856) : eval()'d code on line 1

Vossi 02-19-2011 05:19 PM

Sorry, but that has nothing to do with the addon. The addon doesnt effect the blog at all, there ist not one line concerning any blog routines or whatever. Just open the case in JIRA and let the stuff search for the fault, the addon is not responsible.

digitaldome 02-23-2011 09:37 AM

why image did't showing when user post the image, just the link of images appear
bb code is ON

I have the same problem with blog rss and the only solution is to disable YellowPages mod. :-(

What is strange, when I enable mod again, rss works well for few minutes, and then again crashes

digitaldome 02-23-2011 02:39 PM

Any chance to actually find out which plugin is responsible for this? Strange is, that the mod doesnt effect the feeds at all. Im not quite sure yet, but there might be a bug in 4.1.2...

It seems that blog_entry_display_complete.

Its a shame, I think this would have been a great addition !

Will have to uninstall :(

Mark4865 02-27-2011 08:07 AM

Hello Vossi,

I agree with Jimandbob standard VB attachment system would be a really great add on and make things so much easier.

Can one only upload images from a web address? I have images stored in the forum root on the server, how do I specify a http address for this to use these images?? Sorry if this sounds like a stupid question

yep i cant put a finger on it but its a bug for sure , thinking about going back a version

Really nice Mod. i just installed.
Google maps shows the location with the address can it be changed by a drag and drop pointer in google maps. So the member can mark the location accurately.

Here is an example on the maps. http://www.veethi.com/Nagercoil-Home...t_id-89039.htm

Such a mark can be set by using the google-API. I might going to add that for the next release.

Thanks for your reply, waiting for the next release..

Hi Vossi,

Is this possible at all ?

Will gladly donate for your time if it is :)

Jim

Mark4865 03-09-2011 12:40 PM

Will second that and also donate for this

MoreLinux 03-13-2011 08:38 AM

@Vossi, I really like this mod. Installed on the test system and it works on VB4.1.2 and it can be used as a easy/simple classifieds system.

Question: Is there a way to auto-prune ads after x days?

DirtRider 03-13-2011 09:23 AM

I cannot seem to get the most of the Premium options to do anything excepting for the "Show picture in list of entries on category show "

BadgerDog 03-13-2011 02:37 PM

Installed and testing with thanks ... :)

Already PayPal donated for and using Vossi's excellent Link Directory mod in our forums ...

Questions:

Why does this mod not recognize the use of IMG linked graphics files imbedded in the entry, whereas the same link works fine with Link Directory add-on?

Is there an English version of the template changes someplace, so we can better understand what they do?

Google maps would look nicer in the left pane, but when you size it to fit, it gets squashed too much. Is there a way of making the pane wider?

Thanks .. :)

Regards,
Doug

DirtRider 03-15-2011 04:36 AM

I seem to be running errors on my install. If I try and delete an entry I get the following

Code:

Warning: require_once([path]/includes/class_dm_vblinklist_entry.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in [path]/includes/functions.php on line 115

Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required '/home/vbulletin/public_html/includes/class_dm_vblinklist_entry.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/vbulletin/public_html/includes/functions.php on line 115

And if I edit and entry or post a new one I see this on the top of the forum

Code:

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in [path]/vbyellowpage.php on line 1410
Then I also have this issue

I cannot seem to get the most of the Premium options to do anything excepting for the "Show picture in list of entries on category show "

Vossi 03-15-2011 06:07 AM

This message says that you didnt upload all the files that came with the addon. Just upload all the files and the message disappears. Then the rest you are talking about is working fine, too.

Ok I tried again and still get the error. This is what I did on FTP to my www root

1. The first image I opened the folder
2. The next image I upload or FTP all those files to my root of the forum www
3. I then imported this file into my "Import Product" in admin cp
4. I then opened up the CMS folder
5. This folder I also FTP to my root www

So now I have no idea why I am still getting these errors as above post

Vossi 03-15-2011 08:39 AM

Hm, is:

./includes/class_dm_vblinklist_entry.php

available on your FTP? Did you check that?

DirtRider 03-15-2011 10:17 AM

It does not seem like I have that file at all

Vossi 03-15-2011 11:38 AM

That's the reason for the message ;)

There must have been a mistake by uploading the files then.

DirtRider 03-16-2011 02:28 AM

Under "Premium" settings, when I click places to put ads such as "under navbar" etc., nothing ever appears regardless of where I try to show them?

I'm using 4.04 so am I missing something?

Doug

Are you maybe not missing this file as well ./includes/class_dm_vblinklist_entry.php?

Nop, I just looked and I have two of Vossi's files (one from other mod) there ..

class_dm_vblinklist_entry.php

class_dm_vbyellowpage_entry.php

I assume the only think I have to do is click on where I want the ads to appear in other places in the forums and provide a JPG for the mod to use?

Thanks for the feedback ...

Regards,
Doug

DirtRider 03-17-2011 12:03 PM

No well then I don't know because I have the same issue as you and thought maybe it was because I was missing that file. The funny thing now that you mentioned that you have that file from another mod I download "vBulletin-Glossary" mod and uploaded the missing file. However when I post a new entry I get this

Code:

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in [path]/vbyellowpage.php on line 1410
If I delete it then I still get this error

Code:

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in [path]/vbyellowpage.php on line 1410

Mark4865 03-17-2011 12:13 PM

Vossi please can you tell me exactly what template mods need to be done manually to get the Premium ads to work. I need exact instructions please so I dont mess this up.

Thanks for the help

Since we don't use his "vBulletin-Glossary" mod, I believe that file is from Vossi's excellent Link Directory mod which we do use ... :)

DirtRider 03-17-2011 12:28 PM

Thanks I just tried that one now as well and still get the error. I sure hope I can get this sorted out as this is such a great mod
