I add comment - all confirmations are made by people who are using this mod. Also it is confirmation of working - and it works. Problem is with uninstalling, which wasn't noted before as related with version. First post is updated right now :)

Maybe this is the problem - maybe you booth (I know only 2 cases - correct me if I'm wrong) didn't fallow exactly instructions and made mess in product file. Of course - this is only a guess, I'm not telling that you did.

Getting back to versions - on which versions of vB exactly you have problem with uninstalling.

This mod does nothing with cookies. The problem have to be somewhere else - you can easly chack it by dissabling mod and see that problem still exist - what means that mod is not the cause of problem.

I'm Experiencing the same Issue on vB373 PL1, and also the E-mails and Private Messages are Being Affected and they don't Display Anymore the Board Name, the Board URL, and perhaps other Necessary Info for Users to Activate their accounts and Perform other Activities; also the Private Messages are Being Affected. :confused::confused::confused:

I Confirm that the Problem I Have in My Board is Caused by this Mod. :(

I've Logged in my Account at Stangger5's Board and I Requested the Username and Password Reset Mail, and I Got this Mail with the Missing Info.

Stangger, perhaps Your Latest New Registrants Aren't Able to Activate their Accounts if you use the Activation Mail System, because they won't get the Activation Link on their Activation Mail, and also they won't be able to Perform any Actions like this Until this Problem can be Solved; I can see that You're Not Using the Activation E-mail System; if You Try it you'll see the Problem on Your Board Too.

Perhaps there are other Users that have Installed this Mod and haven't Noticed Yet that the Username is missing on the Login Message (I noticed since Yesterday but thought that was caused by other Mod) and also haven't noticed that their New Users haven't been able to Activate their accounts, (I noticed since Yesterday and ALL New Accounts weren't Activated, and Only Today when I Installed another Mod that Checks for E-mail to be Valid before Completing Registration Process I Realized this Problem, and I Installed that Mod because I Got Upset for People Creating Accounts and Not Activating them, and Now I'm Surprised that This Mod is Causing that HUGE and ENORMEOUS PROBLEM).

I Installed this Mod Only because it Said that it is Safe on vB373, so I Appreciate the Author and Moderators to Provide us a Solution to Solve this Problem.

I've been Forced to Deny New Registrations on my Board because New Registrants Won't be Able to Activate their Accounts, so I Appreciate Your Help ASAP.

You manually deleted a field used by an active mod (why ??), hardly surprising you then get a database error. What did you expect to happen ? :)

You re-created the field you deleted, therefore fixing the error you caused in the first place. :cool:

Just to be clear as well, there is nothing in this modification that can affect emails, private messages or a number of other things mentioned in various threads.

I really don't see how possibly this mod could affect emalis ans PM's. I need to confirm that it really is caused by this mod. Dissabe it and check does problem still exists - if yes you can enable mod - somesthing else made problems.

This mod has nothing common with mails...

How did you confirmed that this mod is causing your problems??? Doing this you confirmed that this mod is NOT causing problem, because problem exists when mod is dissabled.

Once again - you are looking in wrong place. You booth have this mod and booth have this problem doesn’t means that this mod is causing this (wee booth eat breakfast and wee booth will die some day - it means that breakfasts kills people ;)).

As you wrote problem exists when mod is disabled - that simply means that problem is somewhere else. Also you made mess yourself in DB - I hope that you returned column as it should be. It would be wise to uninstall and install again mod, since you will be sure that you are using my mod, not just garbage which you done messing in DB. I'm not supporting others solutions - only mine.

I will gladly help if it will have something common with my mod. I love to make my mods better, but I really believe that problem is somewhere else.

I can trust that you know how to code. In this case you are able to look into mod and see how match it is involved in sending emains - 0. Also I didn't get confirmation that after disabling my mod problem disappears, what would point to mod as cause. But I had confirmation that after disabling mod problem still exists, what means that this mod is not causing this problem - so why are we still talking about this issue :confused:

Seems to me like something happened on the Installing Process of the Mod that Affects vBulletin, and All I'm Asking from the Author and from the vBulletin Moderators and Gurus is a Process to Correct whatever this Mod Caused on my Board, on Stangger5's Board, and on Anyone else's Board.

I downloaded the Mod at 3:09PM and Immediatelly Installed on my Test Board, when I saw the ForumHome Result I Installed on my Real Board, but the Consequences that I Described that were Caused by THIS MOD I noticed only when I Tested the Registration Process on a Mod that I'm Testing since Yesterday, (but the Problem on Displaying the Username on the Welcome Back Login Message I noticed since September 02 but I thought that was other Mod and since Stangger5's Post I KNOW that was caused by THIS MOD).

I don't want to Condemn the Author, I Just Want a Solution to the Problem that THIS MOD caused on My Board, Stangger5's Board, and perhaps in the Future other Users will Report this same Problems on their Boards.

A vBulletin Problem Triggered by something on the Installation Process? Perhaps a Problem on the Installation Process under Unknow Circumstances? Something on the Forum Table Alter? Something on the Filling of that Table? Something on the Work of the Plugins? I DON'T KNOW, I just know that this Mod Triggered Those Problems, and I Hope the vBulletin Moderators, Gurus, that Perhaps Experienced this Same Problem and Got it Solved could Point Us into the Solution.

The Board of Gemma, (check the Profile to see Web Site), has the same Problems (ALL OF THEM) and has THIS MOD Installed; I think Gemma doesn't Know yet about them or doesn't know that This Mod is Causing those Problems on the Board. :confused:

I Think Is Very Important to Send a PM to All Users that Downloaded and to those that Installed this Mod for them to Check this Anomallies on their Boards; some of them should have them and don't know (not yet noticed this errors) or don't know what caused them, and ask them to Report Back in case they are experiencing them.

As I said and Stangger5 too and g0dfather1984 too, this Problems started since this Mod was Installed in Our Boards; something happened and this are the consequences; we Need Solutions. :confused:

Something is breaking the $vboptions[bburl] and $vboptions[bbtitle] in Activation/Password Reset emails but I doubt it is this mod.

Thanks for pointing out that I had a problem inciarco I fixed it by editing the activateaccount, lostpw and resetpw phrases :)

We all Got this Error Exactly when we Installed this Particular Mod; and also the Error that don't Displays the Username when Loggin in (You Have that Error Too On Your Board). :confused:

No USERNAME on the Login Welcome Message. :confused:

Check the PMs from your Users (right Before and After Installing the Mod) and ask the Latest Registered Ones (right Before and After Installing the Mod) to send you a Reply of the Activation and Welcome Mails, and Verify if Before the Mod Everything was Fine and After the Mod the Errors Begun. :confused:

In My Case Applies as I Wrote 5 Posts Above, and the Problem Begun Exactly AFTER Installing the Mod; it's Not Only Coincidence and we Need Solutions, (You, Stangger5, g0dfather1984, and who knows how many more, that's why I think is a Good Idea to Notify Users to Check those Errors and the Ones we've Reported on their Boards). :confused:

This is Not happening to All Boards but a Few Ones; for some Unknown Reason (perhaps during the Install Process) it Happened to Us (4 Boards with the same Errors).

It can't be said that is because the Board was Working, because my Test Board is Disabled and No User Besides me Access it; I also Ran the Upgrade php File on the Boards and Nothing Happened, (sometimes that Routine Corrects things); so we Hope that vBulletin Gurus and Webmasters that had this same Problem and Solved it or that have some Ideas on how to Correct it, can Tell us What we can Do, to do it and Hopefully Correct the Errors Caused by This Mod. :confused:

I'd say that Installing this Mod is a Risk; I'd Recommend Making a Complete Database Backup (with a software such as MySqlDumper), and Hope that Your Board Don't Get Damaged like Ours Did; of course, Test it First in Your Testing Board, but Make the Backup Copy of your Real Board Before Installing this Mod, and After Installing Run a Routine such as the one to Ask for the Username and Password Change, and Create a New Account with the Activation Code Request Activated on the ACP, and Check if the Username is Not Displayed on the Login Welcome Message that is Presented when You Login, (I Posted one a few Posts Before), and if You Get that Error Report it Here.

This mod is the one cauing the problems..

I found and fix the problems and then reinstall this mod and it killed everything again..

It is killing the phrasetype table...
I had three pages in the phrasetype table,,,then when I install this mod,,it only has 15..

Any phrasetype that doesnt have a product,,is deleted...

Why is it Happening? What Part of the Mod Triggers this and Why in some Boards and apparently Not in Others (Webmasters should check the "phrasetype" table to see if it's Damaged or Intact containing the Phrases not associated with a Product that have an Empty Value in the "product" Column of that Table)? :confused:

How can this be Fixed?? :confused:

How can this Table be Reconstructed? :confused:

Do we have to Fill the Table Manually, or is there a way to Correct it in some other way? :confused:

I Confirm the "Phrasetype" Table Losses:

I Confirm that the Phrases that don't Contain a Value in the "product" Column are Being Deleted. :eek:

In my Backup Copy of my Board Before Installing this Mod I had 104 Registers (9.1 Kb) in the phrasetype table, and Now I have 44 Registers (4.1 Kb). :eek:

If I get this Table Right it mentiones the Names of Phrases of other Installed Products (in the product column), so it should be causing Anomalies in other Product Variables not being included in some Places, is that right? :confused:

Is there a way to Fix it? :confused: (besides Restoring an Old Backup and Losing All Changes made during that Period :()
