I am getting very confused by all the different versions of this mod.

According to my ACP, I am currently running "vMoods By ZONE365.COM version 1.1". I do know I originally had the old Mood manager installed. But now I don't know whether what's installed now is your version, Sniper, or someone else's update to your mod.

If my currently installed version is indeed the predecessor to this mod, to I follow your upgrade instructions? or your delete and reinstall instructions?

i uploaded to forum/vmoods and importted the xml file thru admincp
but nothing happen :rolleyes:

What is 2.0.8? And where is 2.0.1 beta and when is Friday July 9th? I am soooo confused.

The only thing I see of any of these things that actually exist is the 2.0.8 but I don't see it listed in the change log at all....

so yeah the drop down width is wrong or something, as i said the mood on display works great but not the drop down after to click to change a mood.

i tried 2.0.8 but not working for me , i have my mood with none

I'm afraid that I'm returning to the older version too.

When i click on the menu to drop down the moods, if i choose one of them, it doesnt change my mood, i then have to go to another page on the forums or refresh and choose again, then it will let me choose, anyone else getting this?

Anyone having problems, please have a read of the new README.html file, hopefully it explains things better.

Well...no offense, but it doesn't specify any upgrade info for those users who currently have version 3.8.0007, or 3.8.0008 already installed.

There is new installation instructions in the Read Me, as well as Upgrade instructions for versions 1.x and 2.0.x.

However...not to seem like a "dummy" what if you already have a previous version of 3.8.000x installed?

Note: I have done everything you told me to do and it's still not working

things to check
- have you enabled vMoods in Admin Options -> vMoods?
- have you set "auto edit templates" to "yes", if you have and its still not working disable auto edit and use the variable $vmoods to place it where you wish within the navbar template.

I uploaded the entire vmoods folder into my forums folder. I must have done something wrong, am I supposed to upload the contents of the folder separately?

To clarify: what I did was just upload the folder vmoods, as is, into my forums folder. Should I have uploaded the contents of the vmoods folder into my forums folder, rather than the intact entire folder?

There aren't any other items to upload such as into the includes or other folders? I uploaded and added the xml

it seems also you cant change moods from in the arcade. :o

but god knows why the moods work perfect from inside the gallery. :D

but still half mods show on forum home as shown again in screen shot.

also reading back through all the pages in this thread members have asked how to put moods in to their usercp - still all requests un-answered. this i would love to know my self, it just would be so much neater. ???

would be great to see vmoods actually working this time.

sorry not willing to offer support for none-standard templates, I'd suggest disabling "auto edits" and using the variables $vmoods and $vmoods_postbit.

Very odd that it works within the gallery, it looks like an issue with the link to style.css on other pages. If it is, then change the url in vmoods_css_include template to point the url to vmoods.css, it might fix the issue.

I do this in my spare time, so will add features if I get time to do so...

sorry i didnt mean it as a feature, well basically can it be done by simply adding the moods code some where please?

im using a style with the Private Messages and member details in the header in a small area "box", thats why i'd like to be able to add a code to make moods appear in UserCP so members can change it there.

not as simple as adding the moods code????

why don't you share these icon packs's psd? then we will be able to translate them easly.

How can I change the scaling of the images? I changed it in the CSS file from 15px to 30px but all the images are still getting scaled to 15px and I have added some extra images and they are smooshed and look horrible hahah

Actually resize them not just specify via the code... that's why they look terrible.

Great mod, a few pointers if manually placing:

The phrases i.e. $vmoods & $vmoods_postbit etc work best within TD tags or in certain parts of the template so it will display right. That old trick for using code instead of the phrase would not work for me, it would not retain the image, it would revert back to "none" on page change/refresh etc. So keep tinkering and don't give up IF manually placing and remember to turn thos phrase options off in the vBulletin Options for this mod IF again, your manually placing.

I added ones that are 72x(18),(23),(29),(35) If I resized them they would look even worse because they would be so small haha

I would like the hight to either be a % or able to name our own paths like the old version. The old version I had it in the images folder and everything was fine because it set the scale for me (had a plugin setup)

As for IE you cant see a thing lol.

EDIT: LOL, what an idiot, i had the image folder called "images" instead of "shelley_93x30" :D
but still on IE, it try's to load a first image that just doesnt exist. all image show but just the top image that isnt there.
