I'd have to agree, I'm too busy taking care of the forums health to compromise it with beta software and increase my admin duties. I paid for working stable code and that's what I'll run. Call me cheap, but I would have to see some quid pro quo for my effort on Jelsofts part, ie. help us test our new software and this years lease will be 50% off.

A few things.. 1) showthread.php loads extremely slow for me on VB3 (IE 6.0). 2) I don't like how all posts are in a single table now, rather than having their own table like vb2.. The reason is that images and code stretch the whole page and makes it difficult to read. 3) I'm happy with 2.2.X, I've fixed the security flaws manually, and I'm used to it. So why change? 4) I'm very lazy.

I do have VB3 running on my PC though..

The only reason I'd upgrade to vB3 is to have google spiders crawl my forum but every hack I've tried so far for 2.2.X hasnt worked

the only thing that was holding me back was a portal but i was lucky enuf to have tigga help me by letting me test his portal

ive become decent enuf to mod hacks or make some of my own for my vb3 board :)

set up a splash and ask your members to set up links on their sites and if they aint already submit to google and such, then google will crawl thru them to you and cos you didn't ask it to crawl you, you'll be rated higher and remember the more ppl that link to your site the higher you'll be :)

1- VB3's being beta, uncompleted (templates) and untested as much as VB2
2- My expertise in VB2 code
3- My cold feelings for VB3 interface
4- Having around 70 hacks to move
5- Need to translate the whole templates once more
6- Lack of time
7- My members being computer newbies and complexity of VB3 user interface

all of which require some time to overcome..

I.E. quick edit, sig edit, the arcade, the store, and other miscellaneous hacks. This is really the only reason why I wont go vbulletin3. I'm sure the hacks that I have on my board will be updated to vb3 but until then I am not upgrading :tired:

Nothing, we've been porting for a while now and hope to be there soon. :)
