Vossi, is this a replacement for the "Link Directory"? I had been waiting on your next release for that... and this seems eerily similar.

Sorry, but vBulletin doesn't support external mods which works with URLs like this addon. I was struggling around with it allready, even the officials had no idea how to handle that as vB isnt build for that yet.
It looks similar by optic but is not the replacement to the "Link Directory". Both addons have different aims; the link directory is a 'usual' linklist which this is a commercial list with specific options and functions for commercial wishes of either the boardowner or even the ad-partner.

I would love to use this mod, but really don't want to install TMS or modify my templates. Aghhhh! Not looking for any conflicts or errors. Seems like an awesome mod though!

Actually if you dont do the template-modifications, you will not have a problem with the mod at all. The only thing missing is, that you wont be able place the global ads in the premium service. Thats it, the rest works without problems. :)

I see there is an import function. Can this import from GARS? If yes, then what does it import?

I read it is possible to rate entries. Is that similar to thread ratings or can we let users rate a number of things and use this for reviews? For example for restaurant users could rate:
- quality of food
- quality of service
- ambiance
- price
etc.

Would that be possible?

Another general question, if you install a mod, then uninstall it. Does the uninstall remove all the database entries as well?

For instance. I installed this mod. Then uninstalled cause I want to wait to do a full backup before I start messing with it. After I uninstalled I went in my database and searched for "vbyellowpage" and found entries still there, so I deleted them all.

What does this mod's install, leave behind in the database after uninstalling? I want to go in an make sure it is 100% deleted out of database, like "before install condition".

There is no pay system for this added to the addon. Bit i like the idea, how do you think it could work?
It imports the entries you exported of even an export from another board.

If you want to use the widget, then you need to upload the /vbyellowpage folder within the vBulletin-CMS folder. Afterwards you'll find the 'widget_premium_add_banner.php'-file in /vbyellowpage/widgets/ folder in your forum root.

You can either user Wimpex from Coroner to import the widget or create a widget by your own which is more safe in case you already have additional widgets installed as Wimpex overwrites the wimpex id by import.

If the addon is installed, all changes in the database will be removed after uninstall for sure. Make sure you habe a correct installation of the product file.
