i dont quiet get what you mean where is the script in relation to the forum...the cnd script is in its own folder which is "comm" on the main part of the ftp...same place "forums" is

hopefully that is what you wanted

i want to be able to have my forums as part of this script cuz i really like the way it is layed out

plus still cant approve bands....

King Fly 04-05-2008 11:25 PM

ok i put my forums directory into the comm folder and it now has a working link to the forums...however when i go to sync users i get this:

All Groups Warning:mysql_select_databse():supplied argument is not a valid MYSQL-Link resource in /home/content/k/i/n/kingfly008/html/incfiles/functions.php on line 62 Could Not open database

Can you turn on debugging, it's in the admin area under Setup Variables. When try and approve a band this time it should give you the error and you can tell that to me. Also should give you the error from the sync.

btw, if you have the forums in www.mysite.com/forums and the cnd script in www.mysite.com/comm then the forum path would be either /forums/ or ../forums/
either would work

for the band approval i get:

MySQL Error: Unknown column 'band_id' in 'field list'

and whn i try to sync the users i get this error:

All Groups Warning:mysql_select_databse():supplied argument is not a valid MYSQL-Link resource in /home/content/k/i/n/kingfly008/html/incfiles/functions.php on line 62 Could Not open database

This file will fix the band approval, I'm still working on what's going wrong with the forum user sync. It's working here on my machine so it's hard to trace.
Put this file into the incfiles directory and let it overwrite the other one.

King Fly, I uploaded some bug fixes as well as some vb database verification. I think this one should fix your problem with importing users. Let me know if it doesn't.

You know, I like the concept of this work. Great Job.

Is there a way that you can set it so that when you click on someone's profile in vbulletin, it takes you to his profile on this script?

When someone register on this script, is he automatically registered on vb?

Great script BTW, it's a lot like myspace!

Yes, all the fixes are rolled into the main file. The files you were having problems with should be fixed now.
