dartho:
you have to remember if we disable the product the Plugins will be disable too:

Inc / Dec Thread Views: Detect Action threadmanage_action_switch
Inc / Dec Thread Views: Display Option showthread_start
Inc /Dec Thread Views threadmanage_start
if you click EDIT on the plugin it will say:

This plugin is currently inactive due to the product Inc/Dec Thread Views being disabled.

it happen when attemt to increas/dic a thread
i have feeling its not compatible with 3.6.8

regards

Hi Meghwar,

I didn't mean to disable the product, only disable the Inc / Dec Thread Views: Display Option plugin (this is the plugin that does the template modifications on the fly) and then manually make the template updates as per post 19.

I have it running on my 3.6.8PL1 site - just tested it then.

@nosherwan9 - if your issues is only that the menu isn't appearing off of your thead tools - you may also need to follow the instructions as per post 19. Also test with only a single userid (yours!) in the "Users with permission to use" section of the admincp (i've only ever had my own ID in there).

If you are still stuck, and really want to use this - I could log onto your admincp and see if I can find what the issue is.

Thanx for the reply.

I did follow all information as #19 again, same error

Attached SS , if any thing wrong please stat again what is it .

you can see the attachments numbered 1 2 3 4 5 thats the steps I did :)

Install, add the MODS on the SHOWTHREAD, Disable the Plugins ONLY and not the Product, Forum MOD Inc-Dec Perform action, and finally the msg am getting.

thanx

Hi Meghwar,
Only one of the plugins should be disabled - the Inc / Dec Thread Views: Display Option one. See attached Screenshot

Excellent Hack, dartho!!

Works With vBulletin 3.6.7. PL1, but qith a Little Bug on the Comma Separation; Comma Separation Don't Work, so When Choosing Various User Numbers, the Hack Don't Work, but When Choosing Just One It Does!! :(

Also Two Enhancements Could Be:

1. To Provide on the Options Control Panel Different Values to Increase and Decrease. ;)

2. To Provide Additional Option To Set How Many Views Desired To Increase or Decrease; (Perhaps a New Window/Template Should Open With That Additional Option, and That Could add the Flexibility this Hack Needs To Offer Complete Functionality). ;)

My Best Regards, Great Hack!! ;)

:)
