Smart move, you removed it.

have to go to your site and pay for this version, reported....

Not unethical, wrong if anything however we are unclear on intention so we have no room to throw out such statements - fair enough?

Feel free to report our free style all you wish.

No need to mention it here then, no need at all.

Optional fix? The category headers don't line up with the categories for which they point. How is this considered an optional fix?

Your responses to this discussion today are not that of a professional company. It is not making you look good.

Not every company is professional, I'm a partner in a LLC with my wife yet I run 99% of the company and I run it how I feel it's best to be ran, granted many assume certain companies should do this or that but how do you feel Carnival Cruises is doing in light of the recent cruise ship fiasco? Nothing but a 30% discount on future cruises which imo is sorry therefor based on that, as we can see, it still depends on who runs the company ;). I don't see anything too unprofessional here honestly however that's a matter of perspective.

This is indeed optional. Up until 4.1.10, making the fix would result in extremely long forumheaders.

We've added this as an optional, yes this is an option for users, feature for premium users who wish to use a category subscription. Keep in mind forum descriptions still function correctly.

All the best,
TalkTemplate

You lost me at "We've added this as an optional"... reading the rest makes me assume it's only for premium users (meaning they must purchase the paid version of the style from your site?) and if that's the case it's yet another mention of a paid style? Do not discuss, promote or anything of that nature regarding the paid style, we don't mind one link and mention of it in the modification description (otherwise everyone else, we might not see too many releasing free styles here respectively).

Let's not poke and prod someone, I'm not innocent there myself admittedly however this is nothing so major as to warrant such replies (laugh with me on that one :D).

From all the quotes above, wouldn't it be safe to assume TalkTemplate that you have confused many here?

Please update the modification settings to reflect the current version it's coded for, meaning 4.1.7 per the .xml and then your free to post something along the lines of "It will install on other versions however may need some updating" otherwise your going to end up with more confused members here which is what I want to avoid.

Also please keep discussions about Paid/Premium/Pro versions of the style limited to your site only, if a member inquires here simply ignore it and send them a PM this way continued discussion is avoided ;).

The XML files for this style clearly say: 4.1.7

Therefore I have changed the settings on this style to reflect that it is truthfully a 4.1.7 style.

DO NOT change it again unless you upload a newer style.

See also attached my personal resolve for the fixed skin as well.

Thank you mods for spending time on this issue.

For clarity, the skin is created for vBulletin 4.1.7 and functions for all later versions.

We may update this in the future for free users.

Keep in mind, we have no obligations to provide "professional" support or updates for all releases. We will continue to fix major issues in the future.

Lies all Lies !!!

There is NO support on Talk Template site either and the story that the versions are now 4.1.10 is a lie!@!! My forum is STILL as messed up as the 4.1.7 free version!!

So yeah I got screwed out of US$12 :(

Are there ANY honest designers out there these days? This is now the 3rd time I got scammed trying to get a skin for 4.1.10

While it's not official, I added my own resolve to fix the skin so that it will work for 4.1.10 ( scroll up)

Thanks..I tried it but it also did not work unfortunately.

They also haven't worked for me. It's a real shame, because this theme is perfect for what I need.
