Also tried other servers with no luck....

Do you know a server that should work for sure?

Server connect null could mean alot of things. dbl check your settings and make sure the files are there :)

hlf my users get null errors. the other half get in fine.

perhaps the irc server you use doesn't allow connections from certain IPs. Would be nice to include the option for a LIST of servers, as a fallback feature.

I'm having a problem with this hack also.
I installed it exactly as the instructions said, but when I go to click on the chat link...all I get is a blank page. Any ideas?

edit: nm I'm an idiot, was using the symlink path to the forum directory. Went with the "real" path and works fine.
