Any updates on this hack?

when we clicked online it's not showing our fake members ther any way to show that?

I notice some bug. If users currently online, it shows twice same user.

ANyway to make this show on VBadvance front page?

I have added all user groups but its only showing 1 user group online in the forum home page. Anybody know how to fix it?

Well did you make sure to use a comma inbetween them?

EXAMPLE: 1,5,8

I thought the MOD is supported by the Coder, but i have realised that this Hack is not supported by the Coder at all.

and also when you click the online users link.. it does not show any of these users online...

can it be changed so it makes it appear these users are on the index page or a random thread?

Allow me a little criticism.

Whilst the idea is ingenious and funny, I don't see how it can make a board look better, or an administrator feel happier. Would it make me happy if my board is full of fake users? No. It's sad actually. There are no shortcuts to real success. Trying to fool yourself won't work either. Get some REAL members, even if only 5 or 10, and experience the pleasure of seeing your board grow. My current forum is about 6 months old, with 300 members, of who 200 are active. Everybody knows everybody. If I started to add such fake users who never post, it would look ridiculous and people would start wondering what is going on.

Sorry Atakan KOC... Not fixed... I get no space between the users and no comma's at all now... It also doesn't show the colors of the users groups...

Though I dont need this, it is a great mod.

As a board is starting out, the owner may want it to look busy or no one will join... No one wants to be the only person on a website. This helps create a busy look and make a board appear to be popular and get some people using it. Its way better than having 1 person show up, look around, grab their nutsack and run out the door... at least if someone walks in, sees 10-15 people lurking, they'll stickaround long enough to perhaps run into a real 'live' person...

I'm having a problem with the current version (2.0.1). The comma's that separate the names aren't displaying. They displayed properly in the previous version.

this mod could be great if the commas and space problem are resolved..

so dont use it Loki. Do you go around giving your personal, judgemental, un-asked for opinion on every MOD?

Great hack - thanks for the update.

Why is it that people like to just post in threads that they think is stupid? Some newer boards may need this to spark interest in the forums. I know I am repelled from forums that have 1 user online every couple of hours. It makes a forum look dead.

This hack has a bright future, if it only worked with online.php and the "Record of all time". Then it would be perfect.

Maybe VBA could be edited to not show users online.

How does one disable the "Currently Active Users" link in forum view for certain usergroups?

I use it on a community that just started, and works for 95% on 3.8.4
No errors. I haven't fully tested it yet. Maybe this Winter we release a full upgrade for 3.8.x with new features.

the number of the users and guests online should change all the time.

E.g. if we have 100 guests and 50 users all the time people will notice

the number should change all the time, e.g. 20 users then after a refresh 50 users
