Yes online.php does not show the online users..I am waiting for the update.

How would you change the post count for other forums? As this hack only allows you to do it for one forum. Would changing the number directly in db work or cause problems?

It would be nice if this was supported by vba. I would install then. But I can make up my own screen names and it will work just as good.. I mean it is a great hack if you wasn't using a vba portal.

and don't understand how fake community works? Can someone explain me?
Is it only for registered useres? For Example there are 100 registered useres and I fake the stats and it shows 200.
Or can I also fake the users who are online> for exapmle the are 15 users online and it shows that thera are 40?

I am looking for something like this but just to make the VIEW page look more meaning this pages been viewed so many times can this do that ? l got enough members no need to boost it but some pages ( posts & threads) needs boosting plz if this does not do it can u work on some thing like that to me or to most ppl view is very important now that make a big boost on topics
and make the forum boost... by the way i installed this while back on older version since my site is member only did not work well cuz it boost the guest list also and thats why i deleted it..

I don't want to cheat on amount of users online or most online. Those numbers are fine. I just want to "fake" the total amount of reg'd users because we deleted a bunch of inactive ones to trim the db and now the "fake" number reflects the amount before the purge.

I just fixed this by editing the "forumhome_complete" code..

Here's a good suggestion, why don't you explode() the $activeusers variable into the array then asort() the array to make it alphabetical then str_replace() the user who is logged in to get rid of it. Then add it to the start and implode() back to how it was. The end effect of that means the fake users will be spread out alphabetically and won't be in a big lump at the beginning as well as the user who is viewing the forum will be at the beginning as it would be before this mod is installed.

When you want to fake the number of views in your forum by editing

showthread.php

and change 1 to any number you want.

That means one click will accounted as 6

the problem with this that vistores will notice it so you have to disable

i understand there have been a number of considerable changes in 3.6.3 - im concerned because ive had some trouble with installed hacks in the past and want to be sure i can install this on 3.6.3 with NO troubles. i would still be more comfortable if this hack was initially written for 3.6.3

I meant run this mod to increase the stats a bit and the remove it, and still have the stats inflated... and no bugs....
