Is there any way to change that definition without hacking the software?

I know of no way to do that within the CSS manager. That's why I mentioned a duplicate definition.

Oh, sorry ... I include everything within the "Additional CSS Definitions" textarea and leave everything else blank

just add

HTML Code:

td.thead a:link

{

        color: #FFFF88;

        text-decoration: underline;

}

to the "Additional CSS Definitions"
