Look at the rule again, it says image. Look at his post count, the mods are fully aware of his sig.

Fast Board > Pointless image sigs.

Dont get mad at me cause yoda got owned.... :squareeyed:

Any particular reason for this? :ermm:

The bottom line is that this is a forum of courtesy not of right. None of the primary staff here make any money nor profit from our purchases of vbulletin. With that being said, they can make the rules and don't owe any explanation in doing so. It is nice when they do, but its not required. This particular topic has become redundant.

As long as i don't get a privacy warning in my browser about a third party cookie being blocked, i consider it within the rules.

o_O I'm not mad, I'm simply trying to control the situation before it turns into a pointless flame war. :)

Well, you are not really doing a very good job of it because you have allowed one member here to call another an ass... :)

http://www.darkblazes.com does not connect for me - Cannot find server - error.

My connection is just fine, thank-you.

Now, this is affecting my experience here. It is annoying. It causes threads to take upwards of 15 seconds to fully load. Yes, I attempt to avoid the 10234 useless threads per week Hellsatan starts as much as possible but every once in awhile, he posts in a thread I find useful and then, well, it sucks.

At the end of the day, why even allow 3rd-party [hosted] images and files in signatures?

Marco van Herwaarden 07-22-2005 01:32 PM

Turn off viewing of signatures in your profile and put hellsatan in your ignore list.

My comment was a joke.

If I turn off signatures, how will I ever know not to PM certain members for support or be reminded constantly of new signature or policy rules here on the site?

Can I put moderators in my ignore list as well? I thought the software didn't do that?

In any event, there is a problem with Hellsatan's dynamic signature here for myself in that it doesn't not load correctly. It may be that way for other users here but I have been the only one (that I'm aware of) that has pointed it out.

Thanks for taking the time to investigate this.

Most coders will provide important information in their post here. You can also read the site rules via the navbar and new rules are often followed by a thread describing them.

Can we buy tickets to this fight ?

Then putting these "reminders" in signatures is, to borrow a phrase you seem fond of, redundant.

In any event, I'm tired of arguing about this here. I brought a possible problem up with allowing any dynamic php files or images hosted elsewhere in signatures, and the team here can take that into consideration.

Commercial activities are forbidden here Paul, so I think you would need to post that question in the service requests forum and someone can then PM you with possible ticket sales :D
