Secure Shell (SSH) is a way to connect to your unix accounts from remote places. I like to think of it as an FTP client without the GUI:p

I dowenloaded thre putty, opened it, when i go in, i connect to my cpanel, but then after about 10 seconds, it goes off

I've been trying to do this all day, if i paid, wiould someone do it?

I'd need a copy of your most recent backup, along with the SSH details, and maybe your CPanel login so I can verify settings.
