I will be releasing a htl version in a bit.

You should listen to Misten - that's the only BIG thing your hack lacks.

Apply this fix to make sure your protected. I dont see this being a problem with this hack but I decided to add this in to be a little more on the safe side. It always better to be safe then sorry.

Open functions_newpost.php

Find:

PHP Code:

 // ### POST NEW THREAD ###

if ($type == 'thread')

Add Below:

PHP Code:

 $post['threadtype'] = htmlspecialchars_uni(fetch_censored_text($post['threadtype']));

I will update the two install files to have this new change in v1.0.1. The only change will be this security update.

Nice hack, but is there anyway I can set certain thread types for certain forums?

I'm installing. :)

Here is the problem: You filled well your new subject, the title, description, you choose your type of subject, you tape your subject... Now you make a previsualisation of your subject before sending... You contemplate previsualisation... then you send! There you will see only the title of your subject in the part where you have all the subjects of the forum... of aillor I do not know how one call this part.

Conclusion, I have the impression that it is necessary to avoid of prévisualiser the subject so that the hacks (those referred to above) function.

the problem is identical for these 2 hack "Thread Type v1.0.1" and "Thread Descriptions v1.0.1"

Nice hack, extremetim. I am impatiently waiting for a per forum basis option.

Pardon my ignorance, but what is HTL? Looks like serialized data...
