I just suspended your account because you said you were
going to prune your database. You went ahead and ran a
repair on the database and the file size of the database
has also gone up instead of down. The database is now
1.8GB. The repair commands you were running brought the
server down twice which caused a lot of downtime for over
200 customers. :eek:

Repair optimizes the database, too. If anything, after the query was done it should have greatly (well not greatly) reduced your db size.

Well either way I am now jsut trying to get them to un-suspend me so I can "hopefully" salvage the remander of the site. Looks Like i have a looooong night ahead of me! LOL

If that's shared hosting then you'll need to find a dedicated server quickly. No sane host will let you use that much space.

493.8 MB is my search index of a 1.1 gig database. If you got to do something start there.

If they have a dedicated server plan ask them if you buy it from them if they will transfer the database to it.

dedicated server runs over 100 bucks a month. I can'f afford that:(

Yes, but my logic is, if you can have them move it for 100, you can get the database backed up, and find a cheaper host. see my logic?
