i wonder why firefly or other admins bother to come up with good ideas like that. hell they strugle every month to get the 5 most named hacks...

i placed a link in my signature hoping that people will bother to click, because i post alot here. nope.

Remember that noone here have a responsibility, everyone here on vbulletin is free what they wan't to do. People create "best hack a month", fine but don't expect that everyone now have to vote only because the hard working guys made something like that. It don't works like that, lazy or not. You can't oblige people to get involved in this community and/or give feedback and/or vote.

I think part of the problem is that many new members are "scared" to post, they see all you master hackers on the board and they either feel like they will get flamed for being a newbie after reading some of the posts on this board.

i simply look at ubbdev community. they are alot more involved into their community. that's all. i'm probably wrong to think like that... and lesane is right i a way the everyone does what they want here.

i will try no to get excited like that in the feature.

It's funny you should say this. I was reading this thread at UBBDEV yesterday and someone there made the point that the vbulletin.org hacking communty was more involved and active than the one for UBB. Sorry I can't point to the specific post but it's in here somewhere:
