Why it is impossible to use php script where redirect is generated?
PR weight from the external site is transferred through 301 redirects. But through php, the script could be interpreted by the search engine as a user misleading. Google advices to make 301 redirects to the replaced pages.
The only place, where I use PHP script – the users’ redirect.

I have no idea why this should be the case. I never said it was.
PHP Code:

PR weight from the external site is transferred through 301 redirectsBut through phpthe script could be interpreted by the search engine as a user misleading

Utter nonsense. Google does not care at all how the 301 header is generated, whether by htaccess or by php. What matters is that it is properly in place.

Well, of course Google does. So did I. But you sure do not need folders and subfolders in order to do that properly

Yes, and that's why you have to create folders, and subfolders, and so on. And that's what I call silly.

I already told you. See #11. And no, I won't write a manual.

ok, how about if I want to rewrite url for members from numbers to their names instead.

example: /memberlist/u2383894 --> /memberlist/rapide

The actually name of the member is rapide, but it shows his id + u instead

is there a solution to that??

I would move to DBSEO PRO, it has anything and everything you need for SEO and a few other things. Actually, I think DBSEO was always a lot better then vBSEO on so many levels. And Dragonbyte always keeps DBSEO up-to-date and they continue to work on it to add more features. DBSEO is all you need for SEO, you don't need anything else.

I just don't understand why anyone thinks they need a paid script to "SEO" their forum with vbulletin 4.
Haven't we learned our lesson with vbseo vanishing and everyone getting exploited..lol ?
