Thanks for solving my problem. It was in the user group settings for admins.

When you said it looked ok to you (looking at it being in the registered group) that got my wheels to turning that it had to be a group permission. One thing I now know I need to do is to create an additional account for myself in the "Registered Usr" category. So I can compare what the membership sees as compared to what I as the Admin see's.

I believe most of us one time or another have been caught by testing only under a single usergroup. Don't be too hard on yourself.

I've decided to consider my site a final product as of ..... right now.

Now on to the task of luring folks to register.

I'm going to start out by focusing on SEO techniques. I really can't afford buying any additional software so I'll just use the basic SEO techniques. Time to do a little reading.

You certainly don't want vbSEO. As long as you know your board is secured, absolutely start running it. Please make sure you have a good backup plan in place! It is the biggest mistake I see people make. Modifying your web site should be enjoyable and you will probably never be completely done as you will learn new techniques and technologies over time.

One thing I have learned about software scripts. You start wanting to change all sorts of things before you have really learned the script. Once you have gone through the trouble of modifying everything -- you find that the original script was really pretty good. Human nature I guess.

So go start enjoying your board.
