I don't blame the development team for it, there was no way to implement a new template system without re-writing the code; so they did.

Kudos for making necessary change, just a little late in the game, but "better late than never".

vBulletin is still the standard for quality communities.

I think you need to keep creating your skins.
This is because we don't know exactly the timeframe that vBulletin will release the Final version of vb4. Maybe we have 5 beta's 5 Rc's who knows. And we all know Beta & RC is not a supported version officially by the vBulletin. And this is a down point factor for style business. The sales are slow because people expecting the new version. Even some coders and some designers are invited to see and test the Alpha in June. We cannot expect how much the Beta's and the RCs will be.

from 3.8 version experience and current time frame they're releasing something per month basis.So you can estimate how long we will get the Final Gold vb4.

and surely you cannot wait for many months to hold your new skins.

I would, of course, Napy, but now I've opened a new chat forum and am busy getting that off the ground. Once alpha testing starts, that'll take up alot of time as well.

I'm thinking that testing is going to be alot shorter time period than it's been in the past. At least I hope so.

However, I do have a couple of semi-finished skins in the wings. Perhaps they'll be my last "hurrah" to vB 3.8x. :)

I know I definately am. I'm getting a test site set up so when it does come out, I can work with it for awhile before I put it on my live site
