Unfortunately this didn't work for me. Uploaded files properly, modified the template as instructed above, and turned on the plugin. The template appears just fine, but no posts are being pulled. Board is active and I posted a couple of times but nothing appeared. I tried the other vbiSPY plugin and that worked perfectly so I know this does work, but for some reason your version isn't functioning. Uninstalled and will see if others experience problems. Perhaps there is a reason why this is happening, but don't have the time to run diagnostics on everything yet. Will upate if I get it running eventually. Thanks!

Found a way to limit the items! Go to the h_live template and set spymax = #
What's the difference between this and just clicking new posts?

are usergroup permissions used? e.g. can a user see secret things / posts in a hidden adminareaforum by using that tool? :)

anyway make it work on non-vb pages ?

figured out how to exclude forums:

open the .php file and search for:
$blockforums .= ','.$forum['forumid'];

where the ',' is, put the forumid's in place of the , and make sure you have a , after the last forum id, so it should look like:

'1,2,3,4,' and that will stop post from showing from forumid's 1-4.
