Just, a thought. Have you logged into your site cpanel and checked your server load?
it may not be a vBulletin issue at all. Most web sites are on shared box. And it may not be your site that is the cause of the problem, but rather affected by it. Like mine is at times.

But if your on a spendy dedicated server, then nevermind. But I would still have a look to make sure I was not in the red.

Cheers:)

The server load is good. It's odd. It does seem slower than others though, yes?

We did remove a lot of plugins. It's only a handful running now.

Also ping your server, response time is also crucial.

Is APC PHP extension installed? It will boot performance definitely.

It seems like it's running fine for me... one thing I noticed is your not running php files rather html.... :) I'm sure that has something to do with it as well.

i agree with you i run on windows for the last 3 years with few php and mysql tweaks it's been great...but each has there preference so...

We ran our forum on Windows for a few months, using apache and mysql still - the performance was fine but we did have one issue - apache would sometimes crash for no obvious reason.

It is installed. Thanks.

Thanks for the feedback too guys. I'm letting it ride. It does seem to be running pretty good I guess. I have a tendency to overanalyze this site.

Your site is running nicely right now.

Windows is actually a pretty solid hosting platform. There's really nothing wrong with it except that all popular scripts are written for a Linux based system running Apache. There's also alot more experience out there tweaking a Linux system to increase performance.
