Yes, profiles can be customized. It has groups, friends, albums and much more. It doesn't have the myspace mp3 player.

So you can edit what your profile's background image and colors are when other users view it?
I didn't know you could do that.
Like I said, I haven't played with 3.7 much. It's just an integration between a myspace type script and vb. Might not be used much by the vb community once 3.7 goes final, but it's there hehe

Well, I think it's a very nice, and huge, add-on. Good work! I'll be watching this thread.

I'm confused,

Is this a VB Product? How does it work with my VB Board ?

Congrats though on doing the script!

Dylanblitz 04-03-2008 07:45 AM

It is not a VB product. It is a stand alone script that I coded and integrated with VB. So if you don't like, or want to use, the social networking part of VB then my script is an alternative.

hmmm, did I get something wrong? after installing it to a subdirectory of my forums a complete own site opened, that didn't know me and wouldn't let me in... and it shows in a complete different style... how the heck did you implement it to vBulltein? do I have to upload the files into the root directory of vBulletin instead into an own directory?

My script is a separate entity, it's a stand alone script that integrates with vb. The style is not shared.
It does not have to be in the vb directory, and really, it shouldn't be since a few files share the same name and will overwrite each other.
Putting the script in it's own directory is preferred. On the last page of the install it asked you to enter a username, email address and password. That is the email and password you login with. After you login you can configure the script to connect to vb and then you can import the vb users into my script.

Damn, This is some very nice work. The groups are better than the vb social groups already.

Great Work!

It means that the path isn't set right to the forum. Where is the script in relation to the forum?
