Im not sure, but there are a few other settings that may vary from board to board such as cached post life span, and the way everything is searched.

Though im not sure if either of those will affect DB size or not.

Thank you for the pointer! The attachments for the 2gb site are stored in the database. The 217 mb site stores them in the file system in /attachments. I went to my FTP program and found attachment.php to be 12kb (dont think thats the right one though is it?)

As far as I know, we set up everything the same. Unless theres some setting that uses HUGE amounts of space that I could check, it seems like they should be about the same file size.

Am I nuts or does it seem wrong that the sites are so hugely different in size?
