yeah!, the extra clan hacks are great, and provide a great little insentive for people to come on... I cant find a decent league/team/tournament hack yet, tried a few, nothing simple enough tho...

The clan is a community really, 3 or 4 teams in 3 or 4 leagues.... so having an easy way to sort who does what would be great, as i also run tournaments, so far its all done by hand, quite difficult!!!

i hope the work pays of in the end! :) :)

lol the first few weeks where hard, a friend in the clan does the flash mainly and i try to neaten it all up together :) :)

Not entirely sure what else i could add tho? :) :)

your navigation should not be in java or javascript. its a really bad practive making your "unnavigatable" to those without JS turned on and for search engines.

Very very true... but think of my target audience ;)

I studied HID n techniques at uni, and i've probably gone against every single 1....

There are things that need fixing, but so far none of the users of the site have had a problem with the java... (Mainly as the target audience is male 12 - 40 ....) and normally they all know about pc's and have Java from previous websites...

I will take a look at other options, atlltho it works atm!!!! :P :)

CSS is a workable solution.

eosgreg 07-31-2006 08:14 PM

is it as flexible :P ?

Freesteyelz 07-31-2006 11:17 PM

Depends but when used properly it can become a powerful tool; more than what most people realize. :)

hmmm i'll go n have a look, didnt realise u could do animation style effects with css? :)

Freesteyelz 08-01-2006 08:27 AM

Yup. You can also create entire images just using CSS, though, it's not worth the work.

Wow, what an awesome flash intro. That's really cool!

Care to share the .fla, I'd love to have something similar to that on my SOCOM clan site! :p

Yup will do, away at work at the moment, :) msg me in a few days if i forget!
