if anyone else has this problem, but are new to irc and don't know... goto your admincp>options>vboptions>vbxirc settings. in the Irc Server, delete the irc.dal.net and insert: irc.vbulletin.nl name your room. hit save. it should work now. |
Helloz all...
Although it seemed, everything went smoothly during the install...i have the following problem: http://www.gamers.gr/board/chat/index.php Any who can help? Ok fixed the problem of showing http://www.gamers.gr/board link thanks a lot:)
But my main question, is that i cant make this hack to work See plz: http://www.gamers.gr/board/chat/index.php |
you're not putting the correct path to your folder. if you go to that file, right click it and select edit (via ftp). go to line 19 and your error is there. on lines 17 and 18 you will see your example of what yours may look like. it's supposed to be the location to your forum via ftp. for example, mine looks like: chdir('/home/dabombcrew/www/vb/');
\web\gamers.gr\board\chat\index.php <=====go here and right-click that index.php file, select edit. goto===>line 19 fixing line 19 will fix your errors on line 44. |
Hmm...I am little confused:)
(i got a bad cold last night and i am little dizzy) I saw your reply, then i put the following: /home/gamers.gr/board/ or /gamers.gr/board/ but nothing:( If i go to my ftp, via Cuteftp, i see above the following: /gamers.gr/board/ :( Is there any way to find the actual path? |
Hmm, so the path is \web\gamers.gr\board\chat\index.php ?
I know how to edit it(its easy via Cuteftp), i dont know the path:( Thanks in advance for any help |
Update:
I put the following path: \web\gamers.gr\board and it seemed it fixed!!! Thanks for your help my friend, be blessed:) |
you're welcome.

Im sure the answer has been posted before in the other 42 pages lol, but im getting a blank page at vb.gamerscurse.com
Pretty sure ive had all the options set correctly under vb options in admincp, but nothing shows in IE, and in Firefox i get the plugin screen. It offers to find a plugin but finds nothing and doesnt install one.... Im sure its something simple... |

First of all, I?ve translated the files to the Spanish, If you are interested in it just tell me and I will send it to you.
Something strange is hapennig to me. I have two domains, one is my primary domain and is the only domain I want to use, (this domain redirects people to my ..../forums/index.php) the second domain is and add-on domain and is pointed to a folder in my server that have another vbulletin installation (for test purposes and password protected). The strange thing is that when I enter the chat using my primary domain and my normal vbulletin forum, I am redirected to this: www.mysecondarydomain.com/forums/chat, every works but..... the style of the forum that is showed in the chat window is not my style, is another style that I have in my second vbulletin installation for test purposes. What a mess... My primary domain point to this -> www.myprimarydomain -> and this is redirected to -> www.myprimarydomain/forums/index.php My secondary domain (add-on) points to this -> www.mysecondarydomain/vbtest (and it is password protected) When I go to the chat on my primarydomain the direcction that I get in the browser is -> www.mysecondaydomain/forums/chat :rolleyes: Hope you can help me because I don?t undestood it. Note: I have installed the chat in both vbulletin installations |

Quit Message: Good Bye Show Graphical Smilies: No Which is basically default. Do i need to download and install the java applet from pjirc? The latest version is 2.0.4. I thought that was included in the /chat folder in the zip file... Failing all this i can set you up with an admin account if you like Zach, just drop me a pm in these forums...i really need ya help. |
Try a different network.. I believe dalnet blocks java clients... I know I couldnt connect via dalnet when I set mine up...
|
