Revan I did what you said about running the optimize and it failed on me.
I contacted the host and they ran an optimize from their end and fixed it :rolleyes:

Battle Type: This specifies the category's battle type. It contains a drop-down of possible options that are built-in to the battle hack. All items in the category will have the category's battle type.

When adding item categories, this isn't available...

Ok I think I got this working I dont know practice battle however nothing moves is this correct I use fist then hit enter then gives results is this correct lol?

I ran uninstall.php and the RPG options menu is still in admincp, how do I remove it?

I think an awesome addition to this mod would be to have the option of allowing users to attack eachother directly, like all you have to do it click attack on the postbit and you are automatically entered into a battle with them. When somone is dead they should have a little tombstone in the postbit too. I think these two features would make the rpg a little quicker and more fun. Great hack so far though! I used to use ibprobattle on my ipb board but I switched to vb and started using this one. Most of my members like this one better because of the depth but some members really liked the idea of attacking anyone at any time by just clicking attack on the postbit. I tried rpginfero and this one is def. better.

Actually, I figured it out. Go into the includes\xml folder, delete any xml files that have the word rpg in it.

I've followed the midi advice in the thread so far. Renamed them from mid to midi, put in the /forums/rpg_music/midi folder. Only alphanumeric characters in filename. Yet still getting the battle music does not exist error.

Hi there, I got the RPG hack working and everything but it has seem to "lock" me in battle. I can't leave or join a new battle. Any ideas?

Are you sure you just entered the filename and not also the extension?
In Admin CP you can deleted battles.

Patch Level 2 released. This is a test release, since it fixes quite a few problems with ClanCP and I have no way of testing these explicit fixes with the old RPG 3.5 core code.
The bugs fixed are:
* "Send Clan Invite" would incorrectly give an error saying the Clan had too many members
* "Join Clan" would incorrectly give an error saying all Clans had too many members
* "Send Clan Invite", "Send Clan Message" and other bits of the ClanCP involving sent PMs would give an error if one of the recipients didn't have permission to recieve PMs, had a full PM folder or disabled PMs.

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR THOSE HAVING UPGRADED TO vBulletin 3.6!
DO (!!!) NOT (!!!) run the install/upgrade script! This will corrupt your installation and you will have to manually import ./installer/hacks/rpg_integr_hack/product-rpg_integr_hack.xml through the AdminCP Add/Import Product interface.
It is NOT needed to run the upgrade script, it's only a version number increase. All the fixes exist in clancp.php so technically this is the only file you need to upload onto your webserver.

Appart from the "uninstall" function and the mods on the templates how do I make sure all traces of RPG have been deleted. What can I modify in the DB? Can I delete all the RPG tables, what about the table that was modified on installation? Thanks...

install went smooth but none of the images show, like class and element stuff. i took a minute to examine the class table in my database and realized the installer installs 2 sets of males and 2 sets of females. the 2nd set of each one has gender IDs of 4 and 5. think this might be an issue. i noticed this has some issues that the old Bitsys RPG system had that needs fixing. ill make a list of everything i find

@WhatChaMissin: Did you set the money table to vbux ? I guess not... do it in Cash Options. Also in the monster arena options (I-Bot Manager), put money as reward for wining battles....

Guessed wrong... I set the money table to VBbux, I did that right after we started getting mysql errors when posting.

Again the problem is that only ONE USERS has no gils, everyone else has gils.

You probably don't have the templates installed on the style, reupload the product file via the admincp and that should fix it (I think)

And double check that you uploaded all of the files via FTP.
