I'm looking for a mod which auto-hosts images from a posting's remote image's URL's BBCode tags, and auto-substitutes the remote URLs with the locally-hosted URLs for the final posting's HTML. Can your mod do this?

The only thing you have to set for it, are the usergrouppermissions.

I've just installed this however I can't see the the Options pages on AdminCP? I can see all the other pages but when I click any of the options it just comes up with a blank vBulletin screen and no options visible.

Have you set the administratorrights ?

I have the legal notice set to OFF yet it still shows up on the upload page c=2&do=usercp&act=upload&special=upl HOW can I remove this please.

Also is there a way to have 4 or 5 thumbnails show on the main forum page?

I am having trouble getting the Gallery to, I guess, work. I dont know where to go to upload photos, or even view it. I have gone through the UMG options, I have also been through the User Group options and also set those items to yes and still not luck.

How do I enable the Gallery to start using it, and where do I find it in my forum to view its contents?

To upload images - "UserCP Upload". But you need a least a category.
To enable (I think you mean the navbar ?) simply insert a link to the umg -> umg.php

You can't diasble those notice. You can disable the link in the umg navbar.

Having problems with mp3 etc uploads as they seem to be limited to 2.5 mb,but my upload limit is set at 800mb.

may well be something i have missed as i am a bit thick at moment with tablets recovering from major operation lol

1. I'd like there to be a way to post something in the forums when a new image or file or video is uploaded....is there a way to have *SOMETHING* show *SOMEWHERE* to allow folks to know something has been uploaded? (I was hoping to have a forum or subforum where posts or notifications could be made so folks would KNOW something new was uploaded).

2. How do folks use the PRIVATE UMG? I see the A thru Z listing but no usernames there, and don't know how folks could have their own private gallery....only the "Main" categories I've created for them.

2.) as a user, you have a UserCP, too (if permissions are given). In this menue you can create "private" categories

I use this gallery now for some weeks and the only thing i can say: it works absolutely perfect. OK...the handling inside the ACP is a little bit confusing...and the upload link is really hard to find...but you can easily change this by editing the necessary template (done in half a minute)
I bought the PRO version and killed my Photopost Pro gallery (several times hacked) after taking over all the photos.
The only thing i`m missing (but its not big desaster) is the functionality for admins to upload pictures for another user of the board...that was a good tool to help my users in critical situations.
From my site of view the best gallery in the moment...and with a really good support.

Is there any way to upload a thumbnail if it is not automatically generated.
Also when i buy pro,(Waiting for payday lol) is it a straight upgrade or a total reinstall??

In the last PRO version (v1.5.4) is an option to upload an image as thumbnail. This option isn't for Images itself - only for media.

It's easy and simple (upgrading files and product overwriting)

I edited the media and only see the desccription, don't know if it was an URL.

Also i found a bug, it let you post even if you didn't introduce any link or path to an image, there should be a checker.

I cannot view the video "pop-ups" in most formats in firefox,the browser asks to download plug-ins for .avi videos among others,some of the plug-ins i actually already have.
Is there a fix? or maybe a way to play the videos "on the page" rather than in the ajax box?
btw,mp3 works fine and so does .flv,along with images.
Anyone else having this issue?

how have you got video popups, it uses highslide, that has its own issue, i actually want it to use a seperate popup, rather than the highslide <div>.

has anyone already done this.

This is great thanks so much, I have one question though. I cannot see a tab for it in the navbar or any other link in the forum to view the gallery. I have currently just added the url in a thread on my forum but would like it to appear in the nav bar for ease of use for my members.

There're two ways to do it.

1.) use this MOD
2.) open the template "navbar" and add a link to umg.php.

I have one more question, how do i edit the category name and description after i have created the category with photos in it.

There are also 2 ways :)

1.) in the category overview (what I mean is the page where you see all the categories and "maybe" the album below), simply doubleclick beneath the title.
This function is similiar the same as vB and used AJAX.

2.) go into the UserCP oder Administration/Moderation of the UMG, click on "Categories" - right hand you can now create a new category, but .. below that you will see the categorie structure.
Simply click on the category to edit or delete (delete is with edit (see at the bottom))

wow you are great and so helpful and kind Coroner, ive never had someone give directions regarding instructions and be no nice about it. I am not an expert and have only starting installing mods and so forth by myself for the past week or so. Its great to have friendly help
