Check the changes you have made in functions_showthread.php and in the postbit/postbit legacy templates.

showthread is fine from what i can see, ill check postbit/postbit legacy
im using 3.0.8 and some things were alittle different to what you said in your install file
www.comptektalk.com
have a look, eg bluto in 1 threa only shows the link to wanr him in his first post doesnt show it after that in the thread same for forumrating yet dynamix s-system both have the warn button shown on every post
has far as i can see postbit/postbit_legacy and showthread are fine
also private.php doesnt work i keep getting errors where it says unexpected $ on line 1700
if im right it means the error is on line 1699 which is a comment box put there by jelsoft of when i downlaoded vB???

You are saying that the buttons show up in some of the posts and not in others? This may be due because one of the posts is by a moderator or an administrator and the other is by a simple user. Have you set your Warning Options, and define which groups are your admins, mods and smods properly?
As for your private.php, no the error is probably in line 1700, not 1699, or there is a ; missing from the line before 1700 (comments do not count check the line before the comment, if it has a ;

Start with a fresh copy of private.php and make the changes carefully. Somewhere you have missed some thing.

It should work fine with Warn for PMs on or off.
As for your second question, I am not sure I understand. The hack uses the standard vB user table, it shouldn't matter if they were registered before or after the hack was installed. What do you mean by "it is not showing up"?

These members are plain users? Not admins or moderators or super moderators?

Check your changes in functions_showthread.php, this does not make sense.

I am sorry, but your database is not damaged by AWS. I am not sure what the cause of your error is, but I know for sure, it is not caused by AWS. Over 300 sites are using AWS, this is the first time I hear anything about a damaged database. And from the error message, it looks as if your problem is not in the database itself, but in some temporary file. Maybe some partition is running low on disk space?

As you wish. It is not AWS which is causing you this problem, that's for sure.

Funny, I am sure it is not. However, if I remember correctly, you had some problems with the hack installation, initially. That means that some things were not changed the way they should. I can't be blamed for how you did the edits.
As I told you, 300 sites are using AWS, with no such problems. I am sorry for your ordeal, but do not blame the hack for it.
