AWS Version 3.4.15 is released.
This version introduces a new feature, the Notes.
In the past, as an admin, I've noticed that I wanted a mechanism, which would allow me to add notes for a particular user. For example, in my site, there is a very thin-skinned used, who does not take jokes very well, even though he does joke with other members. I wanted a mechanism which would allow me to enter a note for that user, which will be shown to be every time I see a post by that user, so that I treat him very formally.
Well, this is now part of AWS. After you install the upgrade, you will notice that there is a new link/button next to the "Warn XYZ" and "View XYZ'z Warnings", saying "Add Note for XYZ". This takes you to a data entry screen, where you may define if that note is private (will be shown only to you) or not (will be shown to everyone who can see the "Warn XYZ" link, i.e. management). You may also define, if this note is post-specific (it will be shown only when you are viewing that post or when other management people view that post) or if it is general and will be shown in every post made by user XYZ.
Of course, the author of a Note has also the ability to delete a note.
I hope you like the new feature.
