Table Border help

I've looked around, and I can't figure out how to add table borders, when viewing threads etc.

My board currently looks like this:

but I'd like to get it looking like this, I just can't figure out how:

http://www.somethingboring.com/future.gif

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
