Ok if you're using category spacing and this mod:

</thead>
<if condition="$childforumbits">
<tbody id="collapseobj_forumbit_$forumid" style="{$collapseobj_forumid}">
<tr align="center">
<td class="thead" width="38">&nbsp;</td>
<td class="thead" align="$stylevar[left]">$vbphrase[forum]</td>
<td class="thead" width="240">$vbphrase[last_post]</td>
<td class="thead" width="70">$vbphrase[threads]</td>
<td class="thead" width="70">$vbphrase[posts]</td>
<if condition="$vboptions['showmoderatorcolumn']">
<td class="thead" width="120">$vbphrase[moderator]</td>
</if>
</tr>
$childforumbits

I noticed that the lastpost column sometimes suddenly may go wider on certain category, why is that happening? It was neat, but suddenly, it became wider. how come? Is there any fix for it?

I've tried changing the width value to 250, it was perfect and neat, but then just today suddenly the Last Post column on certain category became wider again!!! What is happening here!! then I changed it to 260... its became neat again, but then ... the overall last post column became too wide...

You may see it at vbulletintemplates.com's forums home, you see there that the vBulletin 3.0 Modifications category's Last Post column is wider than any other categories' last post.

I hope there is a fix to this! Please help!

Thank you.

Magik, I would appreciate it if you didn't call people who posted in the wrong forum, idiots. Mistakes happen, and it's no reason to potentially insult the other persion.

Moving to design & coding help.

And to answer your question, try using this forum alignment mod. It should set a limit for how wide the tables can be, in order to align all seperated categories.

I know, but you just have to put up with it. It'll always happen, basically.

I used that post Zach but it didn't work. It fixed some categories, but it also expanded the oens that were already wider than the rest. Didn't seem to align them very well, although close!

Change the percentage values of alignment. Post a screenshot too, and your code, otherwise I can't help you.

Um the Forum Home Alignment mod didn't work - didn't even took any effect/changes!

Just now, on my forums, there's one category lastpost table that became wider than any others - automatically...

then I change the <td class="thead" width="260">$vbphrase[last_post]</td>

to <td class="thead" width="270">$vbphrase[last_post]</td>

It was fixed, but then again - the lastpost table/column became too wide!

And this might be happening again, the lastpost table/column may became wider again on certain category. :(

Any help?!

Tony:

I am having this same issue in my forums. Just to let you know... I downloaded and installes the Black & Gold style. I then added the Category spacing mod. I have been having the same issue since.

You can have a look at a photo I uploaded at:

you should be banned. I don't get how mods tolerate people who insult others and call them idiots. I would give you lifetime ban on my forum. You are rude unhelpful and impolite, just about anything that goes against good community rules.
