Need additional text on main forum page

Hi, I want to display some welcome style text on the main forum page, either just below the main logo area or under the "User CP FAQ .." table area.

This for vB3, RC3. I'm very new to vB and trying to find my way around this large, complex but wonderfull beast. Can someone please let me know how to do this or point me in the right direction.

If you mean add to:
"Welcome back, nevf!

then no.

Adding to the area (cell) to the right of this would be fine. If you have a look at:http://www.softasitgets.com/forums then adding text below: "Soft As It Gets Forums" would be fine.

thats going to be in your navbar tempalte

find $vboptions[bbtile] i think!

if you cant find it let me know and ill work somthing up quickly to give you an exact pointer, i like letting ppl try to find things on your own ;). it gets you better orinated

Thanks, agreed better to find stuff out for yourself. Helps to get some pointers though.
I've gone to Style Manager -> Forum Disppay. Am I right that I need to Customize this? Or maybe FORUMHOME or ...? :-)
