Im not sure whats been happening around here latley, but support seams to have been getting slower :mad: Iv allready posted a question and it didnt get a reply for 3 weeks. Is that the type of support/reputation vbt wants? erm...

now. to address my problems.

1) - Im using the 'border' mod (things look good except for the postbit, why is it not covering the entire forum?. I need this fix asap. (see attached 'showthread.doc & border.gif)

2) - I tryed out modifing a style made by podesigns. I waited 2 weeks now for a support reply....but none the less, It aint coming. The tables are messed up in the 'last post' collom'. All it shows is black. :mad: Iv restored a few templates...and I think its what triggered the problem. How do I fix this? (see attached 'lastpost.gif')

Iv been waiting 3 weeks to be finished off with a style. It hasnt been an easy 3 weeks due to little-to-no support and a bunch of other small problems. I hope this can be fixed :) thanks.

You are not allowed to post vBulletin files please remove it from your post.

Thank you

for the border mod, i think it's cos showthread ends the content table before the posts start, and then starts it again, after they've finished
i think removing those two things will make it okay

That is the showthread template, not showthread.php.

I apologize for that, I cant speak for the rest of the team but ive been ocupied with other things, and the psu in my comp is freakin' on me.

The inner table in vbulletin is ended before the postbit is rendered, check out the html of the showthread template here:

<!-- End content area table (CREATED IN HEADER!!) -->
</td>
</tr>
</table>

The rating colum was removed in the forumdisplay templates somewhere (where the star rating is shown), Remove the ratings header from one of the forumdisplay templates..

Just search for "Rating" in them and you will find the code, I can tell you it will not be in any of the forumdisplay_levelx templates

I dont have a vB infront of me right now, otherwise I would have been of more help, I should have at least a test forum up friday, so if you still need help then I can give you a walk thru ;)

No offense, but this is a strictly volunteer operation going here. Because we're not officially employed by Jelsoft, we don't get paid by them. We don't "need" to reply to every thread we see.

..I totally didnt mean to sound 'ignorant' or anything like that :(, Im thankfull for all the support I recieve here.

>> Last Fix Needed :D

when I edited showthread it got the border mod working again :), the only problem is that my postbit is very small, and will not become any larger. (see attached 'small.gif')

Are there any fixed widths in the postbit or showthread making it like that?

humm.....it must not be the postbit because i just restored it back to the default. I think its a problem with the showthread template. Check out this code ~
