Could one of the excellent members of this place please tell me how i can do the postbit mod we have on the site, i have attached a snapshot of what i mean. thanks for any help in advance

I'm sure this question has been answered many times. Just do a search. I remember somebody posting some code for the table. If you can't find it I'll re-post it. :)

And SD has said that he has no intentions of posting the code for this postbit. But it's still reasonably easy, just put every field in a table and give it a CSS border like so:
<table width="100%" cellpadding="2" cellspacing="2" style="border:1px solid gray">
<tr><td><b>Field n:</b> $post[fieldn]</td></tr>

It's okay, alot of questions are posted repeatedly and we're more then happy to answer them again. It's not a big deal for us. But seraching first can help you faster then you'll get a reply here. :)

Right i searched and tried a few things but its just not going right, this is my first attempt at anything like this so i need your help.
After making boarders for my postbit the post count has now dissapeared and i can not see why, also how do i keep the posting options down towards the bottom.
here is my template coding can someone have a look.
this is the post bit

Its still there on my website, the picture was cropped, if that was said in the first place i would have answered.

No it's not, on your main forums page the full copyright has been removed. It should read:

i had removed it, so i can get it sorted, now i know what you was on about very sorry, bit off a miss understanding there, it is now back on all pages except the portal, does it need to be there aswell, as i got someone to install that for me, and i will have to contact him as he is a aussie like yourself, and we seem to miss each other sometimes as i am in UK

At the bottom of the portal page there is the portal stuff but not a vb copyright, i dont know if there is ment to be one as i dont know how to install vbportal i have someone do it for me
I ahve just been to a couple of other sites i know that use portal and they dont have a vb copyright on their portal pages aswell
they have something like what i have which is this
