multiple styles and smilies

i have many styles and i got many smilie and icon sets to go with them, but it seems i can only use the default ones, how can i use a diffrent smilie set for each? i see it was done in the halloween style, but i cant figure out how he did it

can anyone tell me?

I don't believe you can although smilies have been made much better in vB3. The smilies he provided are probably intended to temporarily replace your existing ones globally.

thats fine, im not looking to like, have these as the default ones in the admin cp

in that style, the main smilies he provided are diffrent from all the other style, after install and before, they are linked from the style set

hehe, got it now, came to me from a vision :p

its a replacement

replace images/icons with (whatever the new path is), all smiles must be named the same, but can be any image

BTW, When is VB 3 going to be released? I am getting impatient it is taking so long.....

Is it going to have an option that you can switch between templates in a drop down menu? THAT WOULD BE SWEEEEET!!!

xzx, there is no release date yet.

And the feature you want can be installed with a hack or one of filburt's mods which uses phpinclude for hack code. So try them. If you need links just ask. :)
