Is this just exactly the same as the download hack at vB.org?

Yes, only without hacking. Template modding is always (or at least usually) better than hacking IMHO :)

I'm guessing most of the hacks at vB.org are going to be released here just by editing phpinclude?

No, the vast majority of them just can't be ported to phpinclude. I don't intend to port any more, but so few people realize the power of the phpinclude template and just hack the files instead.

Template editing makes for easier upgrading, thats the only reason I'd use phpinclude for these types of mods.

That's the only reason I would too. Hacking is better in every other respect, especially speed. My Google mod here does an eval on an eval.
BTW I'm enjoying this live chat we're having :p

The power is immense!
Of course vB3's conditional templates > you :D
can't remember what hacks I tryed but I find template modding (no matter how long) more reliable.
Great mod, and is working fine on my test board :)
Quick question though, I would like to put the following test at the very bottom of every download:The ConsoleRadar logo is the property of ConsoleRadar. All other logos, trademarks and registered trademarks in this site are the property of their respective creators and owners.
ConsoleRadar is not affiliated with Nintendo, Sony, Microsoft or any other videogame company.
Opinions expressed in posts are of the poster's and may not reflect the actual opinions of ConsoleRadar or its members.Knowing little about any of this, I tried puttingecho "The ConsoleRadar logo is the property of ConsoleRadar. All other logos, trademarks and registered trademarks in this site are the property of their respective creators and owners."
echo "ConsoleRadar is not affiliated with Nintendo, Sony, Microsoft or any other videogame company."
echo "Opinions expressed in posts are of the poster's and may not reflect the actual opinions of ConsoleRadar or its members."in the code just before exit;
}and well, with all the error messages, it didn't work too well.
Can anyone tell me what code I should use?
Thanks :)
