hey, well im making somthing like vBT the main page and im it's not reading the info i saved it as main.php and its in my forum dir this is the error

You should really ask SD before you use something thats a significant part of his header.

Anyway, you need file editing. Those variables will not work in the header template.

You need queries in your main.php to call those variables. Try vBHome (lite) or vBIndex at vB.org.

He must have not put it in the header template then, there is no way it would work freely in the header template.

Queries in your PHP code, they aren't templates. They call templates. Ask at vB.org or try the hacks I mentioned up there. (They're not really hacks, more like pre-made PHP files with customizable templates, etc.)
