View Full Version : default forum page a no-no
i know this may seem the lamest question ever made in this forum but i just can't seem to find the answer to it. so please help me out because i know everybody else should know the answer. so here it goes...
i installed a new style, shoe's, thanks for that :), i setted it to be the default to every member, on every forum, and it did that, but i can't seem to get rid of the default forum page, the very first page, when you load the forum and you're not logged in, it's always the same default of vbulletin. only when i click on some link it switches to the new style. how can i get rid of this?
thanks for your help
how can the simplest question be ignored? :)

Go to admin Cp > styles > Then go to modify > default property > Once in the property screen you'll see these things
Title:
Replacement Set:
Template Set:
User selectable?
(user can select this style in their profile?)
Change the Replacement set to that that Shoe style is using and do the same for the template set. Have yes selected for user selectable. and save changes. Now when someone first comes to the forum they will see shoe. When ever you want to set a new style to default do the same as you did here. Do not ever delete default style(or template and replacement set for that matter) That's important because if you do it will mess up all the other style on your forum.
