View Full Version : Homepage- Link?
Well I am turning all of my forums Images in the postbit to links, and for some reason the WWW homepage URL wont work for me. I keep trying and trying. If anyone knows how I make it a link instead of an Image please tell me. Also, If you can the Aim/YaHoo icons, etc. ;)

You need to edit the "postbit_homepage" template under you postbit templates. That's the code that is pulled into the posbit when a post is made.
Look for templates named after the instant messenger service for editing those icons. For example, look in the "aim" template for the code for the AIM info in your postbit.
Yes, I know. I took the coding from 'postbit_homepage' and it still gives me a Picture sometimes. I did take out the SRC code and put text there instead but it wont work. Do I have to edit the one in postbit_homepage also?

In your postbit, you should have the variable $ post[homepage] (minus the space after the $). That variable pulls the code from the "postbit_homepage" template. So, you need to edit the "postbit_homepage" template in order to see a change.
The same goes for all the other variables in that section of the postbit.
Ah.. Thank you. I will be sure to try it. Also, the AIM/YaHoo Icons.. There ARE templates for them right?
