I am an avid user of VB, but just recently purchased it. I have already started customization. I am not one to use others work, even if it is freely distributed. I want something of my OWN! So, is there a faq or tutorial on how to change the postbit? Is there an editor that allows me to do changes and preview them before I use them?

Any information I will appreciate. Also, I love the site!

No there's not either. If you haven't edited the postbit at all yet them after you edit it and you don't like it click the "Revert to Original" button. What I do is just start editing it and then fix my errors as I go along. Like let's say I leave out a closing tag like </tr>, I won't know this until I look at a post and see that it's messed up. I could easily tell from what it looked like and fix it but some people can't so you would just have to follow your tracks and see what messed up. I would just suggest taking two or three things from other people's work and customize it to your liking.

Can you explain how the images work? At the top and bottom? Do they have to be a set size? Or do they automatically expand/contract with the window?

EDIT-

Nevermind. I see they do NOT do that. How do you get them in there tho?

It really all depends how familar you are with HTML and what you're using to editing HTML with.

Personally, I use a text editor for HTML editing; edit+ [link (http://www.editplus.com)] to be exact. You can use notpad or any text editor you like. I simply copy and paste the code contained in the template into a blank document. From there I make the edits I need to make and then I copy and paste the revised code back into the template and save it.

Regarding the template guide, Jelsoft does have one, but I don't know how helpful it will be. Look in the members section of vBulletin.com (http://www.vbulletin.com).
