I have had this happen after a certain amount of posts and the only way I can get rid of it is to delete the entire thread. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

You need to contact the owner of that style for support, from what I remember, it is a free/pre-made style that was release.

Ok after countless testing and chatting with the creator of the style I found that is not the problem. No matter what style I use its happening. After a few posts the tables get all messed up... I can't even begin to guess why this is happening... its killing me. I cant have a forum due to this problem... Any ideas you have... please

1. Please update you post instead of posting over and over, it keeps threads shorter and just by bolding the update's date, it will attract more attention.

2. If you installed any hacks on your board, you will need to check at vBulletin.org as hack support is not offered here (and template modifications would not effect a 3rd post, it would affect them all).

Edit: Please check you board, I just replied to that thread and it auto-logging me in as you and allowing me to post (when it should not be). I would advise you to turn off your board and seek help at vBulletin.org.

Um ok then... No, no hacks installed. Since this is vbulletin templates I though this would be a good place for problems with my templates other then just telling me to go someplace else, not that thats not helpful and all.

From what SaintDog has described, it sounds like you've got major problems with your board. The fact that it's auto-logging in users as you is a serious concern. Did you intend to have everyone have access to your admin control panel?

Since you don't have any hacks installed, I'd suggest that you back up your templates and styles and re-install vB. I'd go so far as to delete the database and start fresh.

Edit: I just tried going to your board and was unable to connect to your server, so I can't offer my own opinion. Sorry :(

Sorry about not being able to connect. anyways the fine people at yaxay.com said its probably my php thats causeing the table errors. They told me to run repair.php which I did. When I run repair.php I get these error messages

Warning: Failed opening './global.php' for inclusion (include_path='.;c:\php4\pear') in C:\Program Files\Apache Group\Apache2\htdocs\repair.php on line 83

Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in C:\Program Files\Apache Group\Apache2\htdocs\repair.php on line 86

when I install vbulletin I get this error message but I have just been ugnoring it

Warning: unlink() failed (Permission denied) in C:\Program Files\Apache Group\Apache2\htdocs\bal\admin\install.php on line 289

Wow, that's pretty serious stuff. Have you posted these errors over at vBulletin.COM (http://www.vbulletin.com)? This is really an install issue and not a template issue, so you're way out of my league on this one.

I've had great success with the folks over at vBulletin.com and even had one of the programmers log into my board to help me out. My best guess is that something is not configured properly on your server and/or vBulletin is not installed properly. :(

FWIW, you're going to have nothing but hell trying to run a Windows based web sever. Be prepared for plenty of hack attacks and constant patching.

I'd recommend choosing a Linux server.

Meh no im good. I have a linux box but nobody who has root skills that are good enough to get past my hardware and software firewalls would never waste thier time breaking into my comp. Plus with my raid set up I could lose an entire platter and be back up in a few minutes. Thanks for the thought though.
