Greetings,

First off, I would like to thank the owner of this domain for their excellent work and resourceful site! Also on the side note, the forums here are just astonishing !

I have currenty decided to switch from UBB to vB after so many years. One of the reasons is because the vB offers more features and it seems to be more customizable.

As of today, I installed my very first vB, after a day of reading vbulletintemplates.com forums and vbulletin.com's, I am unfortunate to be overwhelmed on how to customize the forums layout. The default style that is installed with vB is horrid and I am trying my best to learn how to do simple things.

Here is my question: I am trying to make my forums stretched out, like the borders touch the sides of the browser and with a big logo at the top with a menu bar.

The example below is something I am trying to accomplish:

I do know I will not learn this is in a day or two or maybe not even a week, but I'm here and trying to learn. Any help in my dreadful walk in (which seems like "the green mile") towards this look would be most appreciated!

In order to change the look of the style, you will need to do the following (this is just to start you off):

1. Goto yoursite.com/forums/admin/index.php and login
2. Scroll down the side menu until you find "Styles"
3. Click on "Modify"
4. Click on "Fonts/Colors/ect"

From there, within that page you will be able to edit your forums colors (all of them), manage your header (where your logo and navigation resides), and more.

Thank-you Saint-Dog! I have configured the colors ok, now I just need to figure out how to do the alignment and the logo at the top. Glad I came here! :)

I have looked everywhere in the control panel and cant seem to find where to edit the tables where the graphics are inserted. :( This seems like its going to be hard to accomplish.

EDIT: Whoops, ok I have found templates, but havent found which one is for the top graphic table

Edit the Header template if you are looking to change the logo and navigation.
