users awaiting confirmation pm's to staff only

i've disabled them being able to send pm's on my site but thought it would be great if they could send pm's to staff members. not sure if anyone agrees.

How about the helpdesk hack? What I do is only show the HelpDesk link for specific groups like those awaiting email confirmation. This way they can open a ticket, and you can reply to their ticket until it's resolved. Just an idea.

To use the mod, you'll need to enable PMs for the Awaiting Confirmation usergroup. This mod will then block them sending PMs if they try to send to any non-staff members.
