okay so i installed CMPS, the installation proccess was fine but now when i have added "Arcade" and when i tried to click "ArcadE" from the portal page the arcade did not open but if i try open it from the regular forums. They open.

Most likely, you'll need to change the urls in the navbar to have the full url and not the relative one. When it the arcade doesn't come up, look at the url and see what it's trying to open.

it tried to open 'The requested URL /forums/portal/arcade.php was not found on this server.'

and the arcade is at -
' /forums/arcade.php' . As i didnt want vb to be my homepage, i made /forums/portal.

Please let me know how to change the link from the nav bar. Thanx.

Just add the whole url in the navbar template.... http://www.yoursite.com/forums/arcade.php or where ever your arcade is..

its not and i already fixed the stuff :)
