I'd like to include a similar thing to $upcomingevents, but display more events than what I have specified for the homepage on another vb powered page.
Any ideas?

I don't think that has anything to do with calendar events.

1. Copy the Today's Events section from index.php
2. Replace $vboptions['showevents'] with the # of days you want to have
3. Make sure you have eventchache in $specialtemplates and forumhome_event in $globaltemplates
Then you should have the same output as on Forumhome in $upcomingevents.

OK, I did this and nothing. I am trying to put the event calender on one particular forum so I added "Today's Events" to forumdisplay.php. Any particular place I should put it in the file?
Thanks

you can use logicans template hack ;)
also, you can set the number of events that will show on the index.. check out www.locoforum.com to see what I did ;)

I checked out Logican's template hack and it seems to be much more than what I need. Any thoughts on how to edit forumdisplay.php to get $upcomingevents to work?

Thanks!
PS - I like what you did with your web site! What hack did you use for the sub-forums on the forum home page?

I just moved the $upcoming events out of the "whats happening" box at the bottom, to under the navbar :) if I remember correct. it's been a while since I changed that around.
btw, logicans hack is pretty easy to work with, I plan to do a lot more with the templates I've made, if I ever find time..lol
and this is the mod I used to line my sub forums up,
