How can I get my banner to fit the width of the forum?

if you go to www.sccollectors.com/forums and look at teh banner I have a little gap of the sides. I would like for it to line up. I can't get it to for some reason. I sliced the image so I think that is the problem, how can I get this to fit to the size of the rest of the page?

Set your max forum width to the size of your banner (980).

AdminCP -> Styles & Templates -> Style Manager -> Your Style: StyleVars -> Main Table Width (pixels or percentage).
