Ok, can someone please explain this 'BUFF' field. Why don't the weapons just have ATK stats + or - a certain range.
ALso, why don't characters have any Magic ability?

For the Buff ques: RTFM (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=73892) - Read The Fabulous Manual.
For the Magic ability ques: MP - Magic Points/Mana Points. What did you think it meant, MultiPiss? ;) To create spells, make a new Category and select the Spells type :)

Revan, lol, I wish that helps heh.
Haha, ok. Buff controls alot of things.
If the Battle Type is Spells, it controls the Damage dealt/healed.
If the Battle Type is Items, it controls the Damage healed.
If the Battle Type is Weapons, it controls the Attack Power.
If the Battle Type is Armor, it controls the Defence Power.
If the Battle Type is Shields, it controls the amount of damage Shielded when used in battle.
But it doesnt say HOW much Buff changes things. I have made items and I can't figure out how much the Buff integer actually stands for. There are items that people have bought and complained they did more dmg with their fists.
I am trying to find out how much 1 integer in the buff field changes or alters stats. Right now, I can't find that informaion anywhere.
Also, yes I know what MP stands for but, I didn't quite know how to be able to use the stats and keep using them.

If your character has 500 in the Attack stat, and your weapon has 500 Buff, it means your attack will be 1000. This will again be matched against elemental strength/weakness (if your element is strong against opponent, +50% damage. if weak, -50 % damage. if neither, no modifier).

Ok, but i dont think thats working properly... hmm.
I have set up a Barbarian Character Class with a base attak of 50, it has an item with a Buff of 10. Does that mean the weapon does an attack of 60 or a percentage of that attack? Because he seems to be doing LESS dmg with the item than without it.
I love the script, but its this buff thing that is confusing me. Same with healing items or defense. If a item has a 60 buff does that mean it adds 60 to the already armor field? If an item potion has a buff of 50 does it mean it heals 50?
Just wondering because of the barbarian example above.

Then again, I hope (for your sake) you took the opponent's Defence and Armour into consideration when figuring out the above?
Potion buff = correct
Armour buff = corret

Thats exactly what I did, two fights same fighter, same opponent; more dmg done with fists than with a 10 buff weapon.

Then again, a weapon with buff 10 is pretty much worthless. I think the lowest weapon in my forums Itemshop (which I give away for free) has buff 12, while the highest has 100 or something of the likes.
